Why is our Young cherry tree dying?

Asked July 8, 2017, 8:25 PM EDT

We bought a cherry this past spring, it was healthy. It has had plenty of water. But all the leaves turned brown and looks like tiny bugs have been eating the leaves.

We don't know what might be affecting the tree. If all the leaves are brown, it's possible the tree will not recover. The following bulletin explains some of the reasons newly planted trees and shrubs fail to grow.

Most nurseries and garden centers guarantee the viability trees and shrubs for at least one year after the date of sale. Keep that in mind if the tree dies and ask the vendor about it.
