Antheraea polyphemus. It's one of the giant silkworm moths - so it's one of the largest moths you're likely to see in Oregon. With the large, feathery antennae, your visitor is a male - he uses those antennae to detect the pheromones of females. The caterpillars feed on leaves of deciduous trees and shrubs.
