Fire Blight

Asked July 6, 2017, 3:21 PM EDT

I have a beautiful non-fruit-bearing pear tree that has blight. Nearly half of the tree's leaves are browning. Can you give me some advice about how I can stop the blight and restore my tree to health? Thank you!!

Thanks for contacting us about fire blight. This can be a hard disease to control. The following link has information on causes and treatment. http://extension.colostate.edu/docs/pubs/garden/02907.pdf

If you need professional help with this, we recommend contacting an ISA certified arborist licensed in your area, and getting more than one quote prior to having any work done. http://www.isa-arbor.com/findanarborist/arboristsearch.aspx?utm_source=homepageclicks&utm_medium...
