Maple Tree all leaves dead

Asked July 6, 2017, 10:31 AM EDT

Recently all of the leaves on our maple tree shriveled up and turned brown. The tree is about five years old and otherwise appears healthy. Wondering if we can do something to help it. Thank you!

Thank you for the question. The tree looks dead in the photo and should be removed. It cannot be healthy without leaves. It's hard to say what happened to it but cut your losses and start with a new tree.
