Can we grow raspberry dressing lettuce in MN (potted or in ground) and what causes a white coating on the leaves

Thank you for the question. You can grow this plant as an annual here in Minnesota. I learned that it is also called red veined dock, Rumex sanguineus. It is said to taste like spinach or chard and is often used as a container plant due to its bold foliage. Read more about it here:
