I have a 17,000 established lawn in Indianapolis, IN that I would like to improve. I plan to lightly mow, dethatch, aerate, over seed with 25# of 100% Kentucky bluegrass and starter fertilize (at the same time), spread (or top dress) 1/4" of compost (8 cubic yards) on top of the entire lawn, and water. In that order. Should I do anything differently?
