I grow Christmas trees in NE Ohio. My Colorado Blue Spruce are getting a fungus and year old needles are browning and falling off. I am worried this is getting worse. I have sprayed Chlorothonolate and some other fungicides when new growth is 1" or so and again in two Weeks. Little impact it seems. What do you suggest?

It would be best for you to contact the OSU Extension Program Director with Forestry, Kathy Smith, 614-688-3421 or Smith.81@osu.edu. You might also want to send a sample to our Diagnostic Clinic to determine exactly what is going on with your trees, more information about the clinic can be found at: https://ppdc.osu.edu/ .
