what is this, please
This is attached to garden wood box. Two photos are attached. Appears to go through wood with amberish glue coming from it. Also, how do I get rid of it? Thanks, Janet Minter

Does it move? If so then these are slugs that came up from the ground. Use slug bait that you can buy from most garden centers. Follow instructions on the package for best results.
