Yellowing leaves and brown spots on nandina

Asked June 2, 2017, 7:01 AM EDT

Hello, I planted a nandina in a container a couple of months ago, and some of the leaves have yellowed and/or developed brown spots (photograph included). I'd appreciate any advice on what to do to address this problem. I've cut back on water, since some of the yellowing may be from iron chlorosis, but the spots seem more like a fungus. Thank you,

This is probably just an establishment stress problem.
Nandina's are tough plants with few problems. Just prune out and throw away the yellowing leaves and keep an eye on it.
