Creeping charlie everywhere...........

Hi......I have an abundance of creeping charlie in my yard. WE live in the country and have a big yard, but the worst is that it gets into the gardens too.

Thank you for the question. The safest way to control creeping Charlie (aka ground ivy) in the presence of edibles is to pull it out. There are herbicides which are effective against creeping Charlie (triclopyr and dicamba) but it isn't recommended for fruits and vegetable gardens. Persistence is the key to long term control of this weed!
