I know some dish liquids harm small vegetable plants. Is there a simple recipe of any that are safe ? Thanks

I assume you are requesting a recipe for homemade insecticidal soap. Homemade recipes can have unforeseen results because they have not been adequately tested to control the insect or not to harm the plant material.

The USDA requires all pesticides to be tested and that includes organic controls. We recommend using a commercial insecticidal soap sold in garden centers, nurseries and other retail stores. These products are excellent controls when label instructions are read and followed. Insecticidal soap comes ready to use or as a concentrate, with a long and stable shelf life when stored properly.
