How to get a soul sample tested?

I live in woodford county and would like to get my soil tested. How do I do that?

Hello, thanks for your question. Soil sampling is free through our office and easy to do! Simply collect random samples of soil, at a depth of 3-4 inches. Samples can be taken with a shovel, trowel, or you can borrow a soil probe from our office. Take 10-20 core samples, then mix them in a bucket, to get a good representative sample of the area.
