anthracnose on ash this spring?

I have an ash tree that is dropping a lot of green leaves this spring. What do you advise?

If it is anthracnose, it is probably not necessary to do anything. Ash anthracnose is characterized by brownish lesions on the leaf, so be sure that is what you have. Other factors can cause leaf drop:

In the case of anthracnose, even if there is heavy defoliation, the tree should recover, unless there are other issues present. Read here:
