Sienna Glen Maple root system

I have a newly planted Sienna Glen Maple tree in my yard. I am planning on extending my concrete patio towards the tree. I have heard that many of maples have root system that grow up towards the surface. Is this that type of maple? I am concern that over the years the roots would push up or crack the concrete.
