Root size of manhatten euonymus

Asked May 8, 2017, 6:48 AM EDT

I have a manhatten euonymus about 17 yrs. old planted over my sewer line. The sewer line is about 6'-7' deep running from the front of my townhome to the main sewer line. Will the root system damage the sewer line? Should I remove the euonymus? Thank you for your help.

These plants have fibrous roots that are not terribly deep. They should not bother anything running 6' or deeper.
