Tree Roots Above Ground
Can anything be done to cover tree roots that have grown up above ground in my yard? I have about 3 trees that have this problem, one maple, another is some type of ash, and a purple ash. All are large trees with roots above ground that go out from the tree at least 10-15 feet that I have to mow over. Can they be covered with black dirt and grass seed? Can I cover with wood chips about 5 feet out--without any edging? Should I just leave them alone? Thanks!
