I received this as a gift a couple of years ago and can't remember the name of it. Would help in regard to fertilizer etc.

Your shrub is Peris japonica, sometimes referred to as Andromeda, and often called the lily-of-the-valley shrub. It’s a reliable evergreen performer here in the Pacific northwest which blooms in early spring. The colorful new leaves are an additional feature which help brighten gardens and landscapes.

Fertilizer is seldom needed in our clay-based soils. Now and then, an unruly branch will shoot outward far beyond the shrub which you can trim back as needed.
