peach tree

I have several peach trees that have several peaches on them. Can I remove some of the fruit on the tree so there isn't as much competition for the trees energy?

Good Afternoon,

Yes, you may absolutely remove some peaches...particularly if your trees are young or newly planted and reserve energy in the tree. If your tree is older than 3 years, you may also consider thinning the peaches so that (as a rule of thumb) you may fit your fist in between developing fruit. This will best allow for larger better developed fruit. Happy growing, JON
