Seeds - 2 questions

Hello, I have some pollinator seed mix I would like to plant. Is it too early to do so or should I wait till all danger of frost has passed? Also, I planted Marigolds and Zinnia's last year and let the plants stand all winter. If I collect the seeds from the plants, is there much chance that they will germinate? Thank you!!!!!

I would wait to seed until the ground is warmer. It probably will not germinate well in this weather. Give it another couple weeks. As to the overwintering plants, you could try to see if the seeds are viable but they are annuals here and the seeds probably just froze over the winter. I would buy new plants or new seeds.
