renew and replace nutrients in soil

Asked April 10, 2017, 10:57 PM EDT

I will not be planting vegetables in my vegetable garden this year. What can I plant to amend the soil to make it nutrient rich for next years growing season?

Hi,

That is a great plan to use a cover crop to improve the soil for next year. Attached here is a brief article from Colorado State University on the subject of cover crops in the garden.
