Was my account Hacked?

Asked April 7, 2017, 10:08 AM EDT

Yesterday at 2:09pm I received an email in my dwalnofer2@unl.edu that there was a new sign-in from Chrome on Windows. That was not me. I was on the road driving at 2:09pm yesterday. (See 1st image) When I got back to my office at 3:30p.m. I had 100+ emails (see image 2) from all sorts of emails. I have since tried to sign in to my extension account yesterday and today and am not allowed to sign in. (See image 3) for what pops up when I try to sign in. What do I do?

Hi Debra,

Yes, your Google account was hacked. I have an alert mail from Google as well for your account.

To get back into Google - please change your password at https://people.extension.org (the eXtension People password sets the Google password when its changed)

Also you will want to go through the Google Security Checklist: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7036019?visit_id=1-636271740194506473-168801087&hl=en&...

Following up - this may be a better link for the Google Security Checkup:
