How do I destroy the moss in grass and garden beds without destroying plants

Moss thrives in wet soils, so consider how much water is being applied or how damp the soil remains after watering. Are you dealing with a sunny or shaded area? Moss likes shade but can grow in sun if other conditions are right. Have you had a soil test done?
