Yes. We send samples to the University of KY for testing. In several locations in your garden or vegetable patch take 4 inch deep plugs and place them in a bucket. After the soil has dried, crumble and mix all the plugs together. bring about 1.5 pints to the Extension Office. Testing is free to Meade County land owners. There is a small testing fee for those testing soil outside of Meade County. Results are mailed to you usually within 10 days of delivery to the office. If you live close by our office, 1041 Old Ekron Road, Brandenburg, you may want to stop by and check out one of our soil probes to assist you in taking your plugs of dirt.
