ok to plant Impatiens walleriana again?

Asked February 21, 2017, 2:26 PM EST

My garden club in Bethesda has an annual garden sale in late April. Impatiens have always been our largest seller, but due to the downy mildew virus we stopped offering them about 3 years ago. Is it considered safe to plant them again?
