Insecticide for mites

Asked February 19, 2017, 5:43 PM EST

I've been using an insectide for mites on a pyracantha, 2 sky pencils, a camellia and an Encore azalea, but the product has a neonic in it. Can you suggest another product/treatment that is safer for the pollinators?

Horticultural oil is the easiest and best solution. For when and how to apply see the spider mite page on our website: http://extension.umd.edu/hgic/spider-mites-trees-and-shrubs
