Can I move my daylillies now? My periennials are all coming up early & usually I begin moving plants at this stage in growth. However, I'm concerned about future frost & the potential risk to the health of all my perrienials.

Yes, you can move your daylilies now. The absolute best time to divide them is in late summer when they finish blooming, but now should be fine. An advantage to doing it now is that you won't have smashed leaves. Daylilies are sturdy plants-- some people say the best time to move them is when your spade is sharp!
