Definition of a landscaping package or plan

Asked January 28, 2017, 10:05 AM EST

We are building a home in Mt. Airy and need to design a landscaping package or plan. Do you have a definition of what a landscaping package or plan consists of? We assume it means plants, shrubs, trees, and lawn or grass. Do you agree or have a different definition?

That sounds about right to us, but we only work with homeowners.
Is this for yourself as a homeowner, or are you the builder?
You can search the internet or library for common landscape plans, but you could check to see from the Landscape Contractors Association if there are actual specifications for what this means.

If it's for yourself, take your time, watch the sun exposures, terrain, water flow etc. across the site. This will help you determine which plants to match to each area.
