Applying inoculant to seeds

Asked January 20, 2017, 9:35 AM EST

I am planning on putting part of my garden plot in cover crop with field peas and oats this spring. I would like to apply an inoculant to the peas but I need to use a broadcast spreader for the planting. So I must let the peas dry after applying the inoculant and I am afraid that the inoculant may come off during the seeding. Are there any "adherents" that I might pretreat the peas with to help the inoculant stick to the peas? Thanks

We would recommend an inoculant in dry form that you use to dust the peas. Enough will cling to the peas to be effective when sown.
