I am considering raising garlic in a four acre field on my property. Are there Online resources through the extension to guide me through the process? Also, would I need to do soil testing to determine which varieties would grow best here?

Good Morning,
Yes you should do a soil test of your field. This will help you determine your fertilizer needs. We offer these services here in our office in Morrow county. If you bring in your soil samples we can mail them off to a soil testing lab for $14. I have also attached a couple links that I believe will be helpful to you. I also grow garlic so if you have any questions please feel free to call (419-947-1070) our office monday thru friday 8:00-4:30. We close for an hour over lunch. My name is Carri.
