I planted several daffodil bulbs this fall. Several had the start of new bulbs attached to the larger bulb. I pulled off the smaller bulbs and kept them for planting in another location. Just curious...does it hurt to pull the young ones off? will the smaller bulbs continue grow (i.e., is it worth planting them)? should I have just left them alone? Thanks.

Based on your description it would have been best to leave the new bulbs attached. Some may have been noses that help the mother plant. They feed each other. In the future, leave them be. Now you can plant these bulbs and see if they develop.
