Bag Worms

Asked October 25, 2016, 5:48 PM EDT

(I don't know if I inappropriately sent you my question by hitting the "Enter" key instead of the "Submit your Question" button, so I'm resubmitting it correctly). I just noticed a number of bag worms in an evergreen tree in my back lawn. I would like to know how to eliminate them, including the proper treatment, how often it should be applied and when/time of year it should be applied and particularly if I should do something immediately or wait until spring. Thanks for your help.

Just put 'bagworms' in the search box on our website any time to reach our information..
Here's what we have: http://extension.umd.edu/hgic/bagworms-trees-and-shrubs

Be sure to follow the link to the HG32 Bagworms publication, too.
