Horticultural oil application in the fall

Asked October 17, 2016, 11:26 AM EDT

We have numerous shrubs infected with lace bugs and a service berry tree with lacewing insects. We want to apply horticultural oil to all of them. What is the best and easiest method of application? Thank you for your help.

Look at our website for photos and more information on lacebugs. You will have to identify what you are dealing with before spraying. You can spray with horticultural oil (all seasons or growing season rate) or insecticidal soap. You will have to contact the upper and lower sides of the leaves for good control.
