I need help in identifying these plants. My cat has been sick recently and I need to know if they are toxic for her. Thank you so much!

Hello,

Your plants appear to be two varieties of Chinese Evergreen, scientific name
Aglaonema modestum, or A. commutatum.

Chinese evergreens are toxic if eaten, and have many differently variegated leaves. They contain an irritating sap which irritates skin and should not be eaten or chewed. Here are links with the details- you may want to take this with you to your vet-

Ask your vet which plants you can grow in the house that will be more tempting to your cats, and that are safe- perhaps some catnip! But keep all houseplants out of their reach.

Thank you for using our service.
