Ground ivy or creeping charlie can be one of the most difficult broad leaf weeds to control in a lawn. Combination herbicides are available at the box stores, where 3 herbicides are combined together producing a synergistic reaction. Tryclopyr is also labeled for ground ivy control. They key is to reapply the herbicide after 30 days. The older the weed ,the more difficult it is to control. Spring or fall applications are recommended.
