Lake weeds

Asked October 3, 2016, 1:05 PM EDT

What is the most cost effective way to get rid of Fanwort, Watermilfoil, Hydrilla and Duck Weed in a pond of 9.5 acres surface area.I am considering Sonar RTU as it is easier to apply and has less restrictions than Copper Sulfate and works on everything in the lake I want to treat. What other options would you recommend. Thank You.

I think Sonar is your best bet. Realize you will only get GOOD control on Milfoil with it - but EXCELLENT on the other species.

Please consult your State Extension office or Wildlife to make sure Sonar is labeled for your state in this manner - the label is the law.
