Asked September 28, 2016, 9:40 AM EDT

Good morning,
I am new farmer and I would like to test these herbicides on different section of my corn farm for pre-post emergence weed control
-Verdict
- Amarzon
- Diflexx.
If you have experience with other pre-post emergence herbicides please feel free to recommend them.
Thank you

Depending on where you live, most feed stores/farming supply stores will carry them, or order them in for you. You can also use the companies websites to locate a dealer close to your location, or order them on-line. If these brands contain any of the following active chemical ingredients you will need a pesticide applicators license to purchase and use them (the listed pesticides are for Texas, and differ from State to State):

State-limited-use

  • 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D)
  • 2,4-dichlorophenoxy butyric acid (2,4-DB)
  • 2,4-dichlorophenoxy propionic acid (2,4-DP)
  • 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (MCPA)
  • 3,6-dichloro-o-anisic acid (dicamba)
  • 3,4-dichloropropionanilide (propanil)
  • 5-bromo-3-sec-butyl-6-methyluracil (bromacil)
  • 2,4-bis(isopropylamino)-6-methoxy-s-triazine (prometon)
  • 3,7-dichloro-8-quinolinecarboxylic acid (quinclorac)
  • devices using the active ingredients sodium fluoroacetate (Compound 1080) and sodium cyanide (M44), in any quantity, for livestock predation
