What is this flower?

Hi,
I found these flowers 3 years ago in Cardiff Park, Wales. I am now doing an art project and I want to feature these flowers. Can you please tell me the name of thesw flowers and whether or not I can find them in the Netherlands? Thank you.

Dear Client,

I only recognize these flowers because I have them in bloom in my front yard right now. Amaryllis belladonna is sometimes called the naked lady lily as in the autumn when it blooms, no leaves can be found on the stem. And that does make it a challenge to identify the plant! They are not native to the Netherlands or the USA, but to South Africa. There are a number of cultivars, so you may have to do a little more research for further identification.

To find more information on this lily flower, follow these links:

Hope this helps!
