Composting Human Manure

Asked September 16, 2016, 2:42 PM EDT

I want to compost my manure. I am a 100% raw vegan that only eats organic fruits and vegetables. I am a beginner at gardening and composting so please forgive me if I sound too ignorant. :) I am thinking of just adding a bunch of my manure in compostable bags to the compost tumbler to fill it up so it all the way so that everything composts at the same time with some coco coir mixed in because I heard it removes the smell. Should I add anything else? Is this how it is done? If so, how long will it be until it has completely composted?

We do not recommend composting our human waste because of risk of pathogens. We do not have the research to support this.
