Japanese beetles in lawn & Linden tree

Is there anything at this point (mid-Sept.) that can be done to eliminate further damage from these insects (in the lawn & tree)?

I'm sorry that the link was not active. Milky spore applied to grass can help control grubs in the grass. However, this can take up to two years to be effective. Also, as noted in the fact sheet to which I have included a link, applying milky spore will not impact the number of Japanese Beetles that you have in your yard.
