Keeping strawberry plants under control

Asked August 24, 2016, 3:21 PM EDT

How do I keep my strawberry plants in rows? The "runners" are taking over my garden and I don't seem to be getting many berries.

Annual renovation is needed to thin the plants. Most growers plant a new bed every three or four years.

Go here for excellent information about renovation. The bulletin was prepared for Tennessee residents, but the recommendations also apply to Minnesota.
