Durable Turf recommendation ?

Asked August 19, 2016, 6:34 PM EDT

High traffic area, on a slope, heavy clay soil. I had read about "eco grass" and tried this seed on a small section, but without success. I see there is a seed with rhizomes called Turf Alive III, but given my last experience hesitate to try this. I am wondering if you have a recommendation for a type of grass which would be suitable for holding the soil, but allow repeated foot traffic ? It would have to establish quickly as there is no way to divert the foot traffic for very long. Thanks,

Please see the attached publication on Recommended Turfgrass Cultivars. If you have a full sun to part shade area, turf type tall fescue is recommended. For high traffic areas, consider 95% turf type tall fescue and 5% Kentucky Blue Grass.
