Getting rid of high tent caterpillars

In a beech tree tent caterpillars have a tent started too high to teach even with a long pruning saw. Do you have suggestions for getting rid of them. Just spray with hose?

You could hire a pest control company or just ignore them (there should be no permanent harm to the tree), I don't think a water spray will penetrate the web but give it a try. For more natural control check https://www.planetnatural.com/pest-problem-solver/tree-pests/tent-caterpillar-control/
