Yellowing pothos

Asked August 4, 2016, 8:51 PM EDT

This plant used to be beautiful and full, now all the leaves are turning yellow and falling off. I have a water meter and I water it when it hits 4. It's right in front of a east facing window with a lot of shade. Please help!

It sounds like you have it in a good location.
I'm not sure how your water meter works, but really wet/contaminated soil is something that can cause pothos roots to rot and leaves to turn yellow and fall off. If leaves continue to fall you might try cutting back the water a little or even changing out the soil with a well-drained potting mix.
