Squash problems

Asked July 26, 2016, 8:44 AM EDT

My squash plants have started having problems. The leaves are starting to die. The daytime temperature has been around 100 degrees lately so maybe it's the temperature? Some kind of disease / pest damage? I appreciate any help you can provide...

I sympathize. Squash can be a challenge to grow sometimes. Here is a website with lots of pictures to help identify what is ailing your plants. Your picture looks similar to picture 8. But because squash plants are vulnerable to bores, bugs and disease it is difficult to tell for sure. I hope the attached links help.
