pollinating plants

Asked July 20, 2016, 9:48 AM EDT

I've noticed that my green tomatoes are small. I haven't noticed any bees or butterflys around my garden and I don't use sprays. Do gardens need bees to pollinate plants?

Hello. Thank you for your question. I have included an educational publication on vegetable gardening which includes pollination information. Your issue may not be caused by pollination. Please contact the Union County Extension Office for assistance. I am also including the office contact information.
