Invasive plant

This grows in my pond starting on the outside and growing towards the center of the pond. This year it started to invade my other pond. I need to get rid of this

The plant is an induced invasive water plant called "Alligator Weed". It is difficult to control, but there are some useful herbicides. I will give you some references about controlling it below.
