My Choke Cherry tree looks to have a fungus on it. I noticed the foliage did not seem as dense this year. When I looked closer, I noticed branches with what looks like a fungus and it is killing some of the leaves. What can I do about this as I sure don't want to lose my tree.

It appears that your tree has black knot.
