Asked July 14, 2016, 3:30 PM EDT

Hello, My name is Cristina. I have a summer garden and I have some issues with insects/pests that I was hoping you would be able to help me with. The first picture I have enclosed is of one of my Tomato plants. The second is the Kale plant. Please let me know if you have any advice. Thank you ahead of time!

Your photos appear blurred and is difficult to positively identify the pest. On the tomato, the pest appears to be aphids, no a serious problem and easily controlled with insecticidal soap. On the kale, they appear to be white fly. White fly populations can get out of control quickly and may need follow-up applications of insecticidal soap. Look at the attached link.
