Plant identification

Asked July 5, 2016, 10:09 PM EDT

I'm hoping you can identify the plants in the attached picture. They are clover like, but some have up to 6 leafs. The new leafs grow out of the center of the cluster. These have been growing for about a week in a pot with another plant that was gifted to me. I'm not sure if the pot and plant came from the Saint Louis area or the Midwest region in general. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

These little plants look like oxalis plants. One type of oxalis is the Shamrock plant. There are many plants in the oxalis family, but they all seem to resemble clover or shamrocks.
