Give up on cauliflower?
I planted 4" pots of cauliflower plants on April 30. They haven't headed. Should I wait or just plan to eat cauliflower leaves?

It is difficult to grow cauliflower in our area. By the time the plant should be forming a head, the weather gets too hot.
It is also possible that your plant was misidentified. This happens occasionally when dealing with the brassicas; they all look alike as young plants.
If you choose to eat the leaves, it is quite appropriate to do so.
